Happy Holidays

Holidays in Denver, CO

Hello, again, beautifuls and happy holidays from yours truly.

Whatever Holiday you celebrate, I hope that you are warm, comfortable, and with family.

I hope that 2013 has brought along with it all that you could have hoped for and that you’re looking to 2014 with sparkling eyes, a smile on your lips, and hope.

I am sure you already know how wonderful my 2013 has been, how could it not be? I finished my sophomore year at Clark University, got a great job in Boulder at Target, spent an amazing (albeit long) summer with some of the most wonderful people in my life, and then moved to what has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world for a semester abroad.

And so here we are in the fantastic holiday season, likely cuddled up inĀ sweaters jumpers and drinking hot cocoa or egg nog, enjoying the crackling of the fire or the twinkling of lights from windows all too far away.

This is my favourite time of year, because it is a kind and stunning time of year. I love gift giving, I love spending time with friends and family, and jumpers and warm drinks are my absolute bliss. While I am not one for snow, I will admit I can give up my hate for the spontaneous bad weather for the lightness of December and the holiday season.

While I will admit that this season I am slightly disappointed to not be with family and friends, to be having my annual Christmas party, or to be organising Secret Santa, that being in Europe (and England) is totally worth it. They really know how to celebrate the holidays here.

Lots of love, enjoy the rest of your holidays.
