My goal for this week is to write a short blog every single day to make up for my failures in these past few weeks at remaining constant.
Today is Monday. I woke up early this morning before rolling over in my bed again and waiting until 9.50 to get up for my 10am class. I will admit it was probably a failure, but last night I was up until 4am chatting with a friend and attempting to study for my Marketing Management final on Thursday. Oh man, all I can say is that this week is going to be a doozy.
After class was over at 10.50 I went to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Main with a friend to get a ton of coffee and breakfast before walking around University Park and the surrounding area a bit and chatting. Taking moments like these when you’re drowning under everything and moving out in 8 days is very important. Plus, what College student can resist a bit of sun and some swings in a park? None.
Today I am also very lucky and have had one of my courses cancelled. This time is instead going to be filled with a group project and preparation for our final presentation to our class and to the town of West Boylston’s Fleet of Vehicles. It has been our job this semester to work on a Sustainability Action Plan to help the town of West Boylston to improve their sustainability initiatives. It’s been great fun, and quite a lot of work.
I will also be working at the library this evening and then will most likely be stuck on the fifth floor (the quietest floor) until midnight or later studying for my Marketing Management exam and writing my French research paper.
Despite how much I have going on this week in preparation for summer break (woohoo!! Finally!) I don’t think it can compare to last week. For those of you who live in Boston or have family in Boston, I hope that you and all of your loved ones made it through last week without too much more than a scratch. All my best and love to each and every one of you. I can’t even imagine what you are and have been feeling.
Lots of love!
