Spring Part II
Just a quick update today – I’m back on campus and back to work! Recommended listening for this post can be found here.
Right at the beginning of this semester, I wrote about spring – two kinds of spring, and what they meant to me. Now that I’ve returned from my break, it’s time to earn it. The next few weeks will be hard work and lots of it, and I’m looking forward to the challenge. Adding to the pressure are the complications of housing, summer internships, and courses for next year.
Spring is such a versatile word – Merriam-Webster has no less than 17 definitions, and in my last post I only used one of them: “the season between winter and summer comprising in the northern hemisphere usually the months of March, April, and May or as reckoned astronomically extending from the March equinox to the June solstice.” Well, today there’s a spring in my step (an expression I’ve always liked) because I know I can meet these challenges and more. Coming to Clark has given me a belief in myself that I didn’t have before.
